Paid off a car/truck :D just made my last payment and damn does it feel good!

Congratulations! That’s a great feeling!

I paid off my 1500HD two weeks ago... and two days later bought a Duramax. I don’t even get to enjoy one month without a payment because the Dmax needed a steering gear box. *womp womp*

Congrats! Its always a good feeling making that last payment.

Paid the truck off. Paid the house off. Then went and bought the cruze. Duh. That wasn't smart.
But I also doubled what I'm paying on the kids' college loans monthly. Slowly but surely it's getting done....

I'm not buying any more vehicles soon. Gonna try to make the old 2.2l S10 last as long as possible. 205k and counting :D it's not the miles that kill them out here, it's the salt  all they have to do is call for snow and they dump salt everywhere

Oh yea that definitely hurts. I'm glad I have never had to pay that...mine are almost old enough to stay home alone

When our kids were that age, Roni was essentially working for daycare, gas and grocery costs. Just crazy.

My daycare is more than my house payment.. I’ve considered being a manny.

Daddy caycare for real.

I’ve paid cash for my last 4 rigs and honestly it’s the best feeling ever. I wish I had done that years ago.

That’s exactly what Erin does. If she didn’t have such great health care for us, she would have quit her job to take care of the kids.

Same here! No way I could be a manny though. I can only take so much fussing and crying before I’m out no matter what I’m getting paid.

I paid my dmax off about 5 years ago, not so recent, but a good feeling.

As for daycare, its expensive and limited openings, my wife owns and runs a daycare, her waiting list is well over a year out, and that's optimistic

This time of year I see a lot of day care bills for clients claiming them on their taxes. It’s rough. If your employer lets you take child care expenses pre-tax as a payroll deduction, get on that. Every little bit helps.

Bought my LMM for cash in 08 after I got a check for the asshole that almost killed me on my motorcycle. Brand new for $32k out the door on a $52k sticker. :woott:

Can't agree more, every little bit helps and there is alot of small things that people forget about. Alot of you guys race, I know a contractor that runs sprint car and they write that off as well..

Makes me want to keep the bike inside this year, soo many irresponsible drivers and deer around my way. Glad to hear it worked out for the better tho.

it worked out that I got a few bucks, but I don't think I'm better off than before. Especially when I wake up in the morning - OUCH my back and neck.
