So towing the last few times I've noticed something that is really concerning me. After heading down a grade and tapping the brakes a few times, the motor will down shift to slow my rig like it's suppose to. What's happening now is at 60-65mph I'm still on the brakes some, it will kick down to 3rd gear and 3800rpm. No biggy to me but the problem is, as soon as I give it a little throttle to up shift, the trans will tie up really bad. I have not really noticed it before as I use to cruise down the hills fast enough it would never kick down to 3rd at that rpm or I'd be slowing way down for traffic. Since these last few trips I've been takin it really easy and really trying to keep my speed around 60, I'm noticing this. If I'm at or below 3200rpm, it will upshift smooth as butter.
Defuel tables are all stock, trans tcm defuel is all stock and the only mod done was the lock up. Am I missing something to change for the high rpm down shift and up shift for light throttle? I don't believe factory ever went that high but my shift points at wot are 3600rpm and my rev limiter is set to 4k.
