Mine wasnt terrible but as soon as the twins went on it was a lot worst. I had to bump my idle up 30 rpms to make it tolerable. Anybody know why?

My OEM mounts have metal retainer tabs, and one even got used.

MA mounts are nice. They do add a little vibration, but its not bad. My dash and console rattle a bit at idle, but you'd never know the mounts were there driving down the road.

Oddly, the broken mount I removed didn't have a tab. At least not one I saw. Now I'm wondering if it broke off. I should have saved it. I didn't even think to look.

I noticed that quite a bit too when I put my trips on.

Mine also vibrates more with twins but i belive on mine it is the coolant bottle vibrating on the firewall or the bottom of the hood cause the bottle sits up so high on mine the hood touches it i think. Also my A/C line is right below the collant bottle bracket that i screwed to the firewall and i think those two might be vibrating together? Maybe check some of those place for issues?

I found some aftermarket mounts with the a locking tab arrangement. Fairly nice. I would say they have factory dampening and the assurance of the metal retainer when really getting on it.

The engine moving around like it was loosened several wires. Especially the positive cables on both batteries. All better now.

BTW, changing a mount with the engine in the truck sucks. My hands are way to big to fit through all the crap on the driver's side.

So are these better aftermarket, or stock replacement aftermarket? And yeah that drivers side sucked. The M/A 2 piece went back in a lot easier though.

I had mine bolted for a while and it started pulling threw so I just said the hell with it and bought M/A.

did you not use a hardend washer on both sides?

Ive had bolted mounts for years and the bolt was a little stretched but still good

I would use a grade 12 bolt if i was doing it again.

this time i just boxed in the stockers.......now they are solid:D
