Hard 4-5 shift after 1056 and transgo install

alright, installed a 1056 and a transgo kit in a 04.5 LLY and now have a hard 4-5 shift most of the time regardless of which tune is selected on the dsp5 switch. I'm stumped, any ideas?? Truck has a 4"exhaust, cold air intake, shimmed frprv, FASS and efi liv besides the t/c and shift kit.

sounds like lockup. My 1056 hits real hard when it goes to lockup.

x2, when at very low throttle does this harsh shift happen at like 40-43mph or 50+?

Mine happens right around 50-55(but I have 33"s on my truck) When anything less then half throttle it will rattle your teeth! But when over half throttle it's smooth as glass. I'm running a 1058 also......

same thing here. it feels like my trans is gonna fall out when it bangs in, and it seems like the less throttle the harder the bang. ive started a couple of threads on this issue and still no real answer... could someone help us out? is it tuning?

yeah I've put this same converter in several other trucks and never had anything like this. It's bad enough I'm worried about the rest of the truck and my buddy's wife hates to ride in it anymore.

I'm runnin 1058 w/ twins and its smoothe as silk... WOT lock up is a little rough
