Allison DOC is even better but it is what it is. The '01 TCM just isn't responsive and it will settle down when it feels like it.

OK. Sounds like I need to find someone with a Tech2. I've called around and nobody has one. Even the closest GM dealer acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. I'll try Springfield, Il. Surely they will have one. You guys rock! Thanks for all the help.

A "kit" is not going to fix the neutral between 2-1 feeling. Everything in my trans checks out according to ATSG book, but I still have the weird transition for 2nd to 1st. *sometimes*

If you find out what it is, let me know. I am bringing mine back to my tranny guy after the weather clears (if it ever does) and see if he can figure it out.

Mine's an 06, recently rebuilt and has had the 2-1 TAP cleared by a tech 2.
