Othrgrl, what is this causing (incorrect speed reading in the trans?) and how would you go about fixing it?.......I believe I had the same problem a couple months ago with my one tune (adjusted ecm for 265s), but it never threw a code.

Start with making the pulses per mile correct , you should be able to get the spec off of the tire manufacture web site .

I'm learning alot from this thread.....might need a little clarification on my original question though

I never even opened a tcm tune.....didn't want to mess with it and create a tie-up....so I'm unsure of the parameters.

i usually dont mess with anything but shift points . maybe start with 100% throttle and WOT . get that down and change as needed from there .

We have reeces truck going faster than all your mentioned trucks anyway.

I was talking about stock turbo trucks. Congrats, you can get a truck with a 4094 to go .12 faster than our LBZ with nothing under the hood touched. Our LB7 runs 11.4s:hug:

Jordan tried to throw it in my face that your truck runs faster than the 2 stock turbo trucks I mentioned - I was simply congratulating him for his far superior tuning skills.

Nothing against your truck, it does run respectable times.

your truck runs .06 slower with much more done to it. that was the point.

What more is done to it? I have the same compressor in a modded VVT turbo and some 90hp injectors (that I got for free) on a stock LBZ CP3 - my rail pressure would never hold like it should have and I was very limited on fuel. I never ran with the headers. Once again congrats. And what does YOUR truck run? Did you ever hit those 12s?
