Handmade metal roses

Look good.But I will stick with the real roses.At least if the wife gets mad at me for being late I wont get a metal rod/thorns being thrown at me :roflmao:

I've made some of these before but more like a daisy or sunflower. The roses look really cool! Makes me want to get creative and melt some stuff together! :thumb:

Have you ever coated a set in one of those metallic copper paints?

No I have not yet. I stopped at my local Sturdevants store yesterday and inquired if they could do candy colors in a spray can and they couldn't. Otherwise I was hoping to get a candy yellow and a pink to use.

I've sold one to my good friend for $25 and was going to ask that as well for a second friend who I made one for...BUT I left the rose in a vehicle at my place and he came and got it the day before Valentine's Day for his girlfriend. Anyways, I told him I'd settle up with him later on. Got in that vehicle today only to find a $50 check laying on the seat! I guess he needed that rose pretty badly!

Depending on the finish, I'm thinking $25-$35 per flower would be reasonable.
