Had a scare today

I'd guess the trans probably got hurt too?? 40-0 mph like that had to do some kind of damage.

Front what it looked like under decel the pinion got sucked into the diff housing by the ring gear. This in turn made the yoke and driveshaft pop off the pinion before the pinion even locked up. At least in theory :rofl: We'll see if there is any internal trans damage after I get a new diff thrown in Friday.

Seriously doubt it hurt the transmission IMO..... That said,,I Had a similar thing happen at 60 MPH but it locked up, hopped, then implouded shooting pieces of the Diff through the housing...
