Best thing would be to send in the sets and have them tested for usability. It will cost for testing also. Personally I would start over. I've been there and done that before and it usually doesn't pay off in the end.

x2 on sending them in. i did on mine and i feel that much better about them. one came back bad so i had to get a remanned one. but hey better then just putting larger tips on injectors and thinking you are good. they can also may sure they all flow the same in case some of the holes are not big enough

They only do the nozzles. I would send them to Exergy Engineering. You can contact me if need for more info.

Call Exergy Engineering they are one of a few places that can fully test and balance your injectors at true operating pressures

yea what these guys said. they will also give you a cool little sheet that a person like me wwont have a clue what any of it means

If you want to shop the price for them to be opened up tested properly at full operating pressure (like these guys are saying exergy can do), let me know & I'll give you another option to exergy. They are the largest injection shop in the states. ;)

Exergy does good work. They disassemble and check each injector then assemble and flow test. Then extrude hone the tips, reassemble and flow test again. Then re-size and bring the lesser ones up to match whichever flows the most, then assemble and test again. The calibration sheet gives a bunch of data I don't understand for 5 different pressure levels. They call and keep you informed about everything and are very good people to deal with.

60% is 1100-1200 depending what needs to be done to the injectors... 100% IIRC is 1300$-1400$

That includes using your existing injectors and nozzles. It would be best to pay for the testing to make sure they are good candidates for upgrading. There are many issues that can be found when testing the used injector before doing the work. The cost for testing is around 400ish I think. It is money well spent when going back with the existing injector.

I would buy used ones if I was going to make them larger. Even if I bought used ones that were larger I would just get them tested. Figure you are going to want to get them tested anyways.

Keep matched sets. Sounds like exergy does exactly how things should be done. That one I mentioned does the same & prices are looking like they'll be similar. You'll def have to have used ones checked for suitability, then modify them to your liking.

Good luck.

they came out of a motor that was from kentucky, the guy didnt tell me anything about the motor other then there was some metal in the oil when he changed it so he pulled it for a new one. once i got it i saw that it had lbz intake runners and y bridge, the y bridge looked like it had 2 jets in it. what the jets where i dont know. so i was a lil worried about using that motor after see parts it shouldnt of had.

after sending in my injectors i found one was bad and kind of wished i hadnt sold my spare set so fast. i would still use them as long as you get them tested.
