Seriously, I couldn't figure out how to use Paypal to buy something for work. I need a PO, an Invoice number, a shipping receipt, blah, blah, blah...
Reading that last email, it sounds more legit to me. Have you called them? I would guess every Swede under 40 is conversant in English. Most of those are probably fluent. If Per is over 55, you might be out of luck.
I have a bunch of Swedish friends, want me to ask one to call him?
I sure wouldn't be giving out bank info. but it does still seem legit to me. Keep diggin on another way for them to pay. :thumb:

I'll wait a day or two and say, "Thanks but no thanks." "Bank info" = "no way".
Ask for a purchase order with the company information.. address, contact, business ID tell them you want to wire transfer money to avoid the cc charges and that they will have to provide you with their ABA routing number plus international swift number. If they come up with all that info I'd say they are legit.
i supose you could start another account at a different bank than you normally use and give them that info. Hopefully it is legit, good way to make some extra cash.

Sounds like it may be legit Tom. But I for sure wouldnt just send over bank account info. There are plenty of ways to exchange money without account numbers. Also I would not go with a bank transfer, Id just run a credit card or such. There are prolly a few guys on here that will run a CC for you. I think they get hit with a 3% or so fee so factor that in. Just dont ship anything until you see the funds in person and the bank/CC company is good with it.
I am also sure you can search for his "connection" to GM. And also calling his reference and checking. I know a few guys that have been burned with over seas stuff, but myself and many other have never had an issue.

get an id ask for the number on back of the credit card so u can call and find out about it and check teh credit card number against the card security through the company

Nothing came of it. With the retrofit info on the forums now, its a moot point anyway.
