Being a Non Union welder when I am back home. I can never recommend joining an Iron Union, the shop I was at was one of the few Big Non Union shops in the Midwest, All of the unions have folded or been layed off at this time. There is a few still goin in KC I beleive but my buddies back home who were union have gone non union
