I did a search not finding much. I am looking for some input on who has this size compounds. what do you do with the truck and how does it drive? I'm looking to get mine running very soon. Some say is slow others say no problems with the set up. Thanks..

I understand tuning plays a big part in it, I trust who I have doing that to get it right. Was just looking to see who has the setup and how they like it. I'm in the process of the build and I'm receiving a lot of pm's from people saying it will not work on the street. Who I got the kit from said he has no issues and really liked it. I'm excited to get it running it's been down for over two years.

I installed a similar setup on a customer's truck. The little guy was a GTX4202R I ordered from Cam at AP with a billet 76mm comp wheel. 1.01 AR. The 55 was only a 91mm cast comp wheel. It'a dailly driver truck & it drives like a dream. It only had 100% & actually needed bigger sticks. You should just do it:thumb:

It's getting done, I hope to have it running in a few weeks. I guess I'm just excited and you can say getting stage fright for when the first ride. Lol

I am pretty sure David at DTS had a truck with this combo. Contact him.

Pretty sure that exactly what it was. Very impressive setup and sounds great. I'd give David a call at DTS. Seen this truck a couple weeks ago. Sweet ride

Sorry pics are sideways, maybe a mod can fix. This truck is sweet, the setup you got is by far a damn good setup. This truck as an example runs extremely strong. Ball bearings sound great too haha. This thing was a monster

Yes it is a work of art, I just can't wait to see how it drives. I'm not out for record breaking or any of that. It may see a dyno and a drag strip one time just to see. I just want a nasty street truck.

I have seen his write up, I thought he went with the 5533. I'll look again. thank you.

i have the 5541/gtx4202.

i have the georend K converter and the truck drives great for such a big set up. I have big exergys which im sure help. I can have it spooled in around 3 seconds.

the people who say this more than likely have just never driven the set up and are just assuming.

i had a hard time believing it was going to work on the street but like others said, good tuning and a good converter helps alot! i would definitely looking into the K converter tho. and Rob definitely knows these set ups like the back of his hand.

That looks killer. 3 seconds is nothing in my opinion. I plan on using lots of fuel as well.
