I didnt drive mine a lot, it was a puller, it was the gtx45. But you make more boost on the street than you do the pulling track. Ive seen a 4298, 4202, and i know of a few 4508s that have all had overspeed problems. All of them gtx series. I ran a gt4202r on the exact same setup and had 0 problems, after 3 pulls my gtx had touched the cover and had bearing noise.

I would talk to someone thats been running one on the street for a while. All of them i know of having failures were on pulling trucks. One guy sent his to another vendor to get fixed and have their wheels and cover put on it, another is stuck with his, i have a nice 3k dollar paper weight for now, and one cleaned up the cover and is going to try it again this year. IMO i would not buy another. I love garrett chargers, and swear by them, but garrett dissapointed me on the gtx series. If your twinning it i would really consider putting a standard gt on it. They make good power and are tough as nails.
