Does anyone have gt4088R that sounds like a siren at about 3-5lbs. of boost? Does the turbo wine at all? I'm getting a siren sound. As weird as that sounds that is the best way I can describe it. Has anyone else heard this noise between 3-5lbs. of boost?

I hear a slight buzzing sound with my 4094, how old is the turbo? has it been beat on? According to Pat turbo noise problems are generally loud and pronounced.

Its not a gt4088, but my Cheetah has a humming/siren type sound at 2-5 psi boost, it goes away shortly upon accelerating. The sound should be normal ifs its not too loud. Have you checked the shaft for play, pull the turbo inlet and give it a jiggle
I think it normal, My 4094 makes a lound howling sound around 4-8 psi or so then if you push it harder then that it goes to a normal "turbo whistle" sound! The stock VVT on my wifes truck dose the same thing but i have the vane tables severly molested in it, but it works real nice and it turns heads!!!
