let us know how it tows. Looks really good:thumb:

I'm sure I will be able to tow with it, just have to down shift on hills. I only tow about 12k and only a few hills. Haven't gone over 1200* but I don't have it tuned yet and haven't gone over 30psi since the wastegate opens at around 24psi with the strongest springs it came with.

Looks good man! Would love an in cab video!

Thanks, I'll get some vids up once I get it all dialed in.

I pieced together a lot of it, but ended up using the PPE gt42 install kit, just to try and keep it easier. I have a turbonetics pedistal that I was going to use, but I was going to do the install myself and wouldn't have been able to fab/modify some things myself. Long story short if I had to do it again, I would of just bought a complete kit from someone like Trent and it would of been easier and cheaper.

Really? I bought a used ATS T4 ped and put everything else together myself and it was quite a bit cheaper than any other alternative. It is a pain to get all the little fittings etc and Trent's kits are a lot prettier. How have you been liking that charger?

Yes, I think so imo. Especially since it was my first time putting a bigger turbo on, I wasn't sure on exactly what I would and wouldn't need.

I love the turbo, I'm still getting the wastegate figured out but I'm at around 40psi now. I'm going to wait to have the trans done as soon as Mike is ready with some parts and then I can actually floor it and see what it does.

Nice. Yeah you really realize how many little BS parts you have to track down. Luckily we have some pretty big metric stores here so I could source everything here. I bought my turbo, half marmon flange and clamp from trent and bought my ped. I had a local shop build the oil lines/supply plugs and had to order some stuff from intakehoses.com and that was about it. I have way less than 2k in it. But its also a standard wheel T4 s366.

I have a little over 3k in it with everything. I used airflo.com for all my rubber stuff.

Bump:)
Are the Y bridge and cold side boost tube available through PPE? If so would you happen to have the part numbers still? Also are there any boost taps on these pieces? Thanks.

Yes, everything is available through PPE, not sure on the part number but if you call Dan he would know. The y-bridge has (2) 1/8" npt ports. You could easily add more.

I haven't had to smog it yet. I believe it was smogged before I bought it last year and I think it will be up for smog this year but I've got a guy for that.;)

God we have to smog every year here, and I have a CA LB7 so it has an EGR and that terrible Y bridge. Wish I knew a guy too.
