Got beat by my buddies Evo 9 mr today :-/

So my buddy has been running his mouth about how fast his Evo is blah blah. Has. Some bolt on's and a stage 2 reflash(18psi tune). We went from a dig in 4wd and we were dead even till about 65-70mph then he just walked me... But I am looking up what they run and some drivers are even hitting high 12's in stock trim. So I'd say I did ok lol. My Trans also needs to learn the big tune as I never ever drive on it. There are evos in the 11's with the stock turbo! Fast little cars.. So I got beat.. It was a good race though.

The car has higher gearing, so it the top end is a lot faster then your truck. Are you running a stock turbo?

Yeah stock turbo/injectors/cp3 w/lbz reg. max effort tune holding good rail 22-23k.

There are few around here that are 900+ and one that is well over 1,000hp. Brian parker came down in his mid 9 sec cummins race truck and got his ass handed to him by a couple of them. They are definitely fast cars

thats pretty good, a bolt on, properly tuned 9 should be good for mid- low 12's. 18psi sounds a little low for that setup though, I ran between 24 and 26 in mine..just sold it to my friend and would love to beat it in the truck one day

Yeah, but wish I had him till atleast 100mph! Lol he said its at 18psi but if I remember, them 16g turbos push around 16psi stock? Don't they? Has to be more than 18psi.

my buddy slapped a 16g on his eclipse, pretty much same ingine, both 4g63 if i remember right. and he was pushing somewhere right around 19-20, with the wastegate hooked up to the stock actuator still.

My buddy wants to race he has a wrx its mostly bolt ons and a tune and I think he would beat me. I wants to fo a highway pull I said from a dig. He will still probably beat me.
