Im a little disappointed i got beat by a quad cab lb cummins with just a stack. It had rained I was spinnin the tires all the way up to 60mph. Once we got to a light i did a 4x4 boosted launch and spun all 4 while the steering went crazy on me and had to back off, the steering wheel was going back and forth like crazy and made it impossible to control the truck. How do i fix this? And im thinkin on switch from my 305's to 285's to get some power back, good idea? Still a little disappoited and now i gotta hear this guy talk shit until I can get my tranny fixed. The tranny is not in good shape so that may be part of the problem. But im concerned about the steering mostly? Would cognito steering braces fix it?

Dont race in the rain;)

Tyler, that tune outtah have you spanking some not so stock Dodges :D

The angle of the CVs is what causes torque steer that makes the wheel go crazy. Having sleeves doesn't prevent this, it just prevents it from bending the tie rods in the process. Drop the front end before you race. A straight centerlink helps too.

Racing in the rain is fun, especially against RWD cars and trucks that are at a huge disadvantage. Get that trans built and then go show the guy who's boss.

You gotta feather that throttle and let it stick as much as possible. I ran a Mustang like that one night. I was spinning all the way to 60 mph and I won after I finally got some traction.

Sorry to hear that you got beat! Coming home from a dyno event i came up on a dually dodge with a huge salt spreader in the bed- he pedalled it a couple of times so i was ready to go-haha- well when he took off i took off but was still unable to pass him for the next two miles going over 115! I dont think he was stock though- Steven

Maybe it's me, but I don't think a truck with a stack is "stock".

I mean why bother?

He had stock tuning and no performance work done. A stack isnt gonna make that big of a difference to matter in a race so i considered it a stock truck
