I really like a suzuki... that was my choice but i got a deal on this bike that was too good to pass up

I like the two brothers exhaust, but i can get a yoshi slip on for cheaper....

So u guys dont think i should go with a power commander

w/ a slip on its not needed but it depends on your intensions for the bike for track days and racing i would do full system and p/c V but just for normal riding and tooling around a slip on will do just fine my g/f has a 05 zx6r and the best thing i did to it was a -1 front sprocket i feel thats how they should have been geared f/ the factory

This is some good advice. I bought a power commander but had a tune sent to me after i did all my other mods like the exhaust and intake. It turned out that the company that I bought my exhasut from has a dyno in house and has dyno tunes for most bikes so I bought my PC from them with an uploaded tune. It actually runs a lot better with it and I could tell a back to back difference.

It did however, not add as much power as i got when i re-geared as rmallen said. I did a -3 in the back wich is close if not hte same as -1 in the front and saw a huge increase in the low end power curve. I may even still do a -1 in the front as well to see how I like it:thumb:

For my, the exhaust was a really hard choice because I had a color scheme I was trying to stick to. So i had to pick something accordingly. As far as the Yoshi vs. Two Brother, you really cant go wrong with either if you like them both.

So i ride the same bike as your girl???? Lol, i feel like a real bad ass

Ive read that the sprocket really helps them also.. id like a little more torque on the bike. So u think i should do-1 in the front?

Only reason i like the yoshi over the two bros is i can get the carbon fibre yoshi cheaper...

I just want to do exhaust, power commander and sprocket change... i jus plan on keepin this bike a year or so then i want to get a gsxr1000 or cbr1000rr

lol she said she wanted to ride and i wouldnt let her get a 250 or a starter bike i wanted something i could ride to lol i just took all the fairings off it while teaching her and put a cage on it so that way when it went down no biggie she layed it down 3 times and ran into barn once lol that was priceless !!!! but after that never layed it down again. i have a friend w/ a stock motor zx6r 6 over arm and a 30 shot that runs 9.60s so the bikes will scream w/ some work for sure
