Its from the local Dodge dealer and it says that they are tryin to stimulate pre owned sales and that my truck is just what they are lookin for.

It reads

"According to our records you one one of a handful of individuals who currenty own a preowned vehicle that we need. If your vehicle is in good condition, it is in its peak trade cycle. We are willing to make you an aggressive offer for this vehicle. There is no purchase necessary."

I find this kind of odd as i have a 07 chevy. I have never owned a dodge or even been to their place lookin at them. This is just funny to me.

I drove my old 82 Silverado to a Mitsu lot once and they told me my brown beat up chevy was just what they were lookin for too, I laughed and kept walking to the parts department. :)

Ask them if they will give you enough for your current truck to go buy a new Dmax.

Also, don't you think a Dodge dealer would be looking for Dodge trucks and not their competition? I guess now a days they are looking for what sells (Dmax's and not Dodge's).

The letter or anything it says doesn't mean anything, its just a sales pitch. Are they going to buy your truck from you for some awesome deal? Doubtful. Its just to get you in the door and on their lot.
