Got a 72mm VGT put on!

1500rpm 5th gear TC locked. Accelerate as hard as you can not to downshift and see how long it takes to reach 20psi gain looking at the map sensor.
Same thing from a standstill. No boosted launch, just hit wide open and look at the log to see how long it takes to go from 0-20psi.

Look at that, even has your name on it! I don't always do it but I put the customer's name on a lot of them during the build process to keep them straight! Thanks again guys for all the kind words!
It is a little on the tight side from a dead stop, but all in all not too bad. I'm going to leave it in there with the new trans and see how it is at the track.
I am going to be joining the 72/483 club too! just waiting for hsp to finish up my twin kit. Hope i love it as much as you guys. How does this set up work for towing?
My 72/483 pulled my 18,000lb (26,000lb truck and trailer) 5th wheel very nicely.
Good question, a 1055. I'm not sure here but maybe my cam plays a role in good drivability/towing.
Nice, I have the same cam as you if your still running the socal 6480 af. I just picked up a Gorend mlg-k Interested to see how it works with my set up.
I am still running the 6480AF cam. I think the 72/483 paired with MikeL's K converter might be a perfect set-up.
I really like the 6480AF cam in street trucks with valve reliefs! If no reliefs than the 3388AF is great choice! :thumb:
What's pricing like I'll be running 366billet /2x363 fmw and am wondering about the 6480 and I have .080 vale reliefs

Expensive but when talking about your motor's lifespan(keeping the crank in one piece) is worth it's weight in gold to me. It's more than a standard fire cam because it starts life as a billet blank to change the order.
