Well guess i got some very good news i put the ppe lift pump in the truck today. And lets just say i slapped my self. If i would have known it was going to make this much of a differnce it would have been the first thing i done.

Now bad news. The Tranny is complete done with. AND I MEAN DONE i was doing about 50 and laid into it at WOT. I heard a big boom pulled into the house and tranny fluid wasnt leaking. It was pouring and i mean pouring. So i hope to get back to pulling with yall soon. Thanks for all the help

I got even better news now. My brother has just discovered u can turn the lift pump up or down. I guess thats what he told me. Well while i was out with my girl. He discovered the torque converter does spin when the engine is idealing. He turned the pump up and rev up the truck and it clouded smoke. It also clouding a big hole right in the side of the transmisson. Shit went flying everywhere and so did white smoke. So now are tranny has a hole in the side of it. I am beging to wonder if today is friday the 13th:D Anyways today was very fun we got to tear shit up.:D

Well its definatly in the bell housing, not the tranny. What would have gave out there to blow a hole in the bellhouseing? First thoughts would be you tore the flex plate up, but that doesnt account for all the fluid loss!! Or something blew out of the converter!! Well at least its there and not in the main body case!

I think it was the flex plate that let loose. All the converter bolts seem to be there. Thats the only thing i can think of. I wonder if mike L has seen this before

I have seen one that resembles that, Except it took the bellhousing completely off and the front of the tranny dropped it onto the converter. It was the flexplate flying apart at about 3200 rpms. You got off a little luckier than he did, his burnt to the ground, It took a fuel line off at the filter and when the fuel hit the exhaust manifold... that was the end of it.:)
