I have a 5" mbrp straight pipe up to a 7" single stack, so I got rid of the dpf, and egr. We just put plastic caps on the sensors and deleted both with efi. I've tried like 6 or 7 different tunes goin for mpg. Put a dps5 switch on so I'm not always driving around on the biggest tunes.
The exhaust is a straight pipe meaning no muffler, dpf, or egr if i understand correctly

Just because there is 3800 pw in the table doesn't mean it reaches that area of a table.

In any case, our 17,000lb barn-sized LMM (with DPF, all stock) motorhome gets 11 mpg, and much of the driving is through mountains.

Something is not right. I can't make any of our trucks get 10 mpg if I wanted to. Abusive driving might drop to 14.

the dpf canisters and egr are both gone, laying on the floor of the shop. Today I had to run over to one of my farms about 45 min away. With the fuel light on and my CTS monitor showing 1% fuel remaining I put 40 bucks in fuel in her, and reset my trip before leaving. Diesel was $3.89 so it put 10.28gal in tank. Coming back from the farm with the fuel light back on and CTS reading 1% fuel remaining, pulled into the same station to fill up, hit my trip and it read 92.7 miles.....averages out to 9.01mpg:mad: Its all highway driving with only one stop sign and no hills. I never went over 65mph and I was driving with my dps5 set on my 120hp tune. I stand corrected to fellas my pw on biggest tunes is 3400

Any ideas where I need to start looking? I'm planning on trading next week if I can't figure it out..

My 08 never gets below 13 with farm driving and has gotten over 26 on the interstate. And that's from 5000-8000 feet above sea level. Hell I had a loaded up gooseneck trailer on the other day at 7000+ and still got 15.5 out of that trip. My DIC always matches my hand calc

This is gonna sound dumb but maybe it's leaking somewhere on the return side of the fuel system. I can't imagine it being able to use that much fuel and not smoke a lot.
