I'm new here but not a newb so don't tear what I say to pieces please lol. I can take constructive criticism though. So my def tank heater went out. Well it was going out and now it's throwing a slightly different code and says DEF system check owner manual or whatever so I assume it's the heater. either way iidcwhat it is I want it gone. 15 miles left limited to 55 mph, then it says my limit will be 4 mph after thay??!? The main problem is I have to be in corpus Christi by no later than Friday for work and that's a 14 hour drive. I need the easiest way to delete my def system. I already have a edge cts2 evolution. Do I still need the flash thing from EFI or can I just purchase the tunes and exhaust?

Emissions delete tuning is illegal fyi. I would recommend you contact one of our site vendors
Actually the EPA rules state it is illegal to modify the emissions control systm regardless of where its used. A dedicated track vehicle is about the only exemption I know of, it requires forms be filed with the epa, and you have to get a modified title so it can never be registered again. They don't care if its used off road because they're regulating them just as heavily now.
I'm just saying be mindful of the questions you ask on an open forum. Again I recommend that you contact a vendor from our vendor list as they will be happy to help you with EFI Live.
Please dont think we're getting on your case. There's just no good way to tell newbies without sounding unwelcoming.
We stopped talking publicly about this topic a while back, due to people losing their livelihoods due to overzealous EPA restrictions and punishments, including one who's business was shut down even though his area of expertise was increasing performance with emissions intact.
