GM ever make a mistake on badge placement?

My bad, I thought I had heard the 06 LLY had red writing instead of blue. but still had ALLISON transmission on them. Then again though, I have the DURAMAX/ALLISOn badges on my BURB.

Not all of them. I know a member that had an 06 LLY CHEVY and it had the DURAMAX ALLISON badges on it, but his had the red writing in it instead of the blue like the LBZ had.

The 06 LLY I have had the DURAMAXDIESEL badge when purchased, I switched it out for the Duramax/Allison badge later on. I was under the impression all the 06 LLYs had DURAMAXDIESEL badges and all the 06 LBZs had Duramax/Allison badges.

I have never seen the "GM weird one" anyone got a picture?

I was mixed up on which badge it was which is why I edited my post above. I could have sworn I seen one before though on an 06 LLY with the DURAMAX/ALLISON badge on teh door, but I've been wrong before. I remember when I ordered my door badges for mine, the parts guy asked me which style DURAMAX/ALLISON badge I wanted, so who knows?

I have an 06 LLY. I put the Duramax/Allison badges on it, but I painted the "MAX" part red instead of black. Duratothemax also put the Duramax/Allison badges on his 05 LLY and painted the entire "DURAMAX" red. Maybe that's what is confusing you.
