Three is the most I have seen. Two looks much better. The best looking and easiest to use seems to be two-gauge pillar and two over the mirror; either in the cubby or under it.

Best gauges? This debate could really get good. I like Autometer.

I ran Autometer Colbolt 2 on my Dodge they were nice but they were way to bright for me. I like the look of the PPE gauges. Do the Colbots have a fuel rail pressure gauge. I also need a dimmer to dim them down or turn the light all the way of with the lights on.

There is an Autometer dimmer for $30 and it works with the AM LED gauges. I just put a set of the UL-2s in a truck and used the dimmer.

There is no rail pressure gauge in the Cobalt line.

Why pay for a dimmer? I run Autometers that match my gauge cluster(black face, white markings, orange needle), don't remember the series. Anyway, I wired them both into my cab dimmer dial, works like a champ.

Yep, that works too. The Z-series lights are fairly dim since they are not LED. I didn't even run the dimmer on mine.

Well i bought the Autometer Ultra Lite II gauges and i love them so far. They are very visible in the day and at night. I didnt hook them up to a dimmer cause i didnt feel the need.
