I bought my first duramax the other day. 2018 6.6. I have run only powerstrokes up until this point. The fords had a light on the dash showing the glow plugs were on when starting, but I find no such light on the duramax. Is there such a light that Iam missing ? Also, how long do the glow plugs work before cycling off.

L5P glow plugs are almost instant. If you have push to start, the truck will wait till they are warm.
Anyhow, it’s a curly cue yellow light that comes on in the bottom right side of the rpm needle. Just up slightly to the right of the check engine light
