Been looking around for a good deal on glow plugs for my 02 dmax. Has anyone had luck with some of the cheaper ones on ebay? Found a set of 8 for 80$ that are supposed to run warmer then factory. Any help would be appreciated. Cheapest ac delco ones i have found are 150$ for a set of 8.

Diesel rx is the brand im looking at. I don't mind spending the money but could use it elsewhere. Exactly why i asked here before ordering a set. Has anyone used the diesel rx glow plugs? Looking for actual user feedback on them.

Yes, I put a set in my buddies lbz. 6 months later I replaced them with a AC Delco set. He insisted on using them because he didn't feel like taking them back.

Use the AC Delco or it will cost you twice as much. We have an LML in the shop right now that had an AutoLite glow plug tip break off in the head and it is the second one with in a week with the same issue. Not worth the risk!

You chose wisely , just put things on a scale , should I save $70 for a likely risk of destroying $20,000 worth of parts ? Do not think it was wrong to ask because we get into this discussion about once a year about saving $15 on new vs used bolts on critical rotating assemblies !

Thanks mark. This is exactly what i was looking for. Ill order the ac delco ones. Never hurts to ask.

I tried Diesel Rx and one didnt work at the beginning and another fail 1 month later. I changed for ACdelco and no more trouble.

Im aware on most parts but glow plugs aren't a topic that comes up very often. Appreciate all of the advice. Im sure this will help someone later down the road as well.

Deletes wouldn't be a problem in a warmer climate. I thought about doing mine but I'm right on the line where I would feel comfortable
