My budget alternative to milling the slide for a red dot . haven't fired it yet to see if the added weight will effect anything

it's actually a PF940V2 which would be a G17 clone

I want to try out the Recover Tactical 20/80 Stabilizer brace on it so that was my main reasoning for doing this. the stock sights are too low with the brace so I wanted something higher. I already had the Holosun HS403C and wasn't using it on another firearm so I thought I'd give it a try

I have milled and non milled firearms for red dot mounts, and I’m not sure that you’re going to like that being up so high.

brace showed up in the mail today. scope height seems to be comfortable. now I just need to go text test it without using up any ammo
