They would have had to call the cops if I was there! Homie and I would of had problems when my stuff looked like that. I couldn't imagine sending something out of my shop like that. After I got out of jail I would have been back down there with billboards over me in front of there shop.

I couldn't let it come to that since I can't drive. He is the kids and I only transportation :(

I will add the "Nice" lady told us to leave and take the motorhome with us. Like I could actually drive :roflmao: When Pat had told them in AM was the reason he was riding his bicycle home was because I couldn't drive. Not like she didn't see me roll in on my scooter.

Robert and I discovered a very fundamental error in their previous work that is probably the cause of all the problems. Not going to say at this time until I get time to repair it.

But if you repair it how will you prove they committed a error?

You can actually see it in the posted videos if you know what you're looking for. Plus I have a lot of pics and videos.

Sent letters to local and corp via UPS envelope. You must try to settle matter before filing a lawsuit. Today was "settle?" letter. I don't expect a reply. If they've been sued before, they will delay or not respond at this stage.

Sucks in these times you have to go through the motions to get something fixed the way it was supposed to be the first 3 times.....

Ok unfortunately I don't know what I'm looking for. Nonetheless I do hope you string them up as I feel for you and the absolute dangerous mess they left your vehicle in! Real shame

It's unlikely I'm going to sue. But sending the letters early is better.

Here's the thing, I don't need the batteries to charge or the TV's to come on for what I use it for. At this point, I'm more pissed at them for wasting my time and conning me than I am at the problems with the RV.

I might just end up dropping the whole thing, or I might see if I recoup my time and money, and diminished value. I don't know.

At this stage, since they've had it 3 times, I'm not letting them know what they kept missing. They treated me like I'm stupid, now let's see how smart they are.

IMO if you have the time and can stomach the time and frustration it will take to POSSIBLY get a resolve in the end you'll be happy you pursued your complaint. Things is as frustrated as you are now will only get even MORE frustrating as you go along. It'll be tough to find anyone to help you.

What ever your goals are monetary reimbursement, others safety best you could hope is to send frustration down the pipeline back to them. The more agency's you get involved that they will have to answer to the better to justify their piss poor repair or lack of repair.

Also wondering ,I know here in Connecticut that if you've received shotty repair at a licensed repair facility you can complain to the DMV branch I believe with the hope they will investigate it. This is far better then the BBB as the company has to participate with them and who really checks them anyway. Your only other best recourse obviously as you know is the INTERNET visiting RV forums and spreading the word.

It appears that we will be doing the repairs ourselves.

There is a Bureau of Automotive Repair that controls licensing in CA, IIRC. After 7 days without a response from Giant RV, we will contact them and other outlets outlining the facts of the repair.

I'd send that video to Dutchmen and show them what kind of service you get from their dealers.
That is beyond negligent on all parts as to how they treated your equipment, the condition it was left in, and their incompetence is absolutely astounding.
Have you spoke with the owners of the dealership at all?

It's not mine and I feel the exact same way to be 100% honest!

Forget that they didn't ,although it matters, repair it correctly but to do that type of cosmetic damage and leave it? It's easier to get your money back IMO. But Man I'd be livid as I'm one to always take care of my stuff and always respect others property!

Then seeing the cosmetic damage on the cabinetry if it's not repaired or repaired correctly ,makes you relive the whole fiasco over and over. I'd try and make the bastards replace it!!!

I'm giving them 7 days to respond to the situation after they receive the letters.

Then I proceed. I decided that it is in the best interests of the Dmax community not to let this go. Many of their customers are Dmax owners, and many of the coaches they service are Kodiaks. But this is just an auto repair, not WWIII. We are super busy at work right now, and I just don't have the dozens of hours it will take to do a "full-court-press" immediately.

But I'm not likely to just drop the whole matter.
