mileage goes down because of the additives they put into the fuel storage tanks at the pumps for anti-gelling and whatnot.

They may be changing over to winterized fuel. Mine always drops after that. I run a pretty mild tune in the winter. Less than 100rwhp. I'm curious what others are running for the winter too.
