Hi I'm new to the forum and was unsure were to post this at, but my problem is I am getting a ton of air in the fuel system and the truck will not run. Pulled the out line off of my lift pump and it's putting out alot of air and fuel so I'm assuming it's getting it somewhere around the tank? Any help would be appreciated this trucks getting to me...

It's a bd lift pump, got it for free. I do not have a sump and yes I do believe the truck is kind of low on fuel, I rebuilt the filter housing and replaced the fuel lines with it, also the primer will not get very hard like it did when I first got the truck
Fill the tank up first off than turn pump on see if it gets the primer pump hard and stay hard 
if that fixes it. You need a sump if not report back and it'll most likely be a game of tart at the fuel tank and work your way to the rail and see if you can find a leak or anything loose.

Is it one with filters or without? I would be checking all your connections between the pump and tank and/or pump and filters first. You could have a connection thats slightly "open"....not enough to leak, but enough to let air in. What kind of clamps did you use? The cheap worm clamps dont get a good bite all around the connections. Could even be in the pump itself if everything else checks out.
Lastly, double check your filter head and filter. Could be there, too.

That's where I would start. It will narrow down the problems. If it runs then you need to take out the pick up and make sure it isn't broken anywhere. If it doesn't then pull off the hose past the pump and try it again that way. That would determine if the pump is faulty. Have you tried running it with the pump off?
