Just bought a 07 GMC 3500 Duramax 1 ton with Allison Trans. Got maybe 500 miles and I get a engine lite and code given is P2454. Anyone have this code and what was required to resolve. Thanks

Googling the code reports DPF pressure sensor A low circuit. I'd check the sensor and wiring and see if either is bad.

Some background on the Truck, what's done to it? That's a DPF code.

Update. Took truck for drive and the engine lite, code p2454 was gone. Looked with programmer and it showed old code of p0128 and p2454, nothing current. Not sure why this cleared up on its own but wanted to give update. Thanks to those who responded with suggestions.
Where I work we see a lot of cracked lines that go from the exhaust filter to the pressure differential sensor ( but all our trucks run the haul road here in Alaska). with it clearing it self it passed it's own test and will clear from history I thing after 40 ignition cycles ( not sure). If it doesn't come back SWEET, if it does then I would do what DAVe3283 said. The P0128 is just the coolant temp didn't get to temp quick enough. Good luck. Fred
