Hi ive converted my dd LLY to be race only. It has a danville 68mm with nitrous. i currently have a suncoast 1058 but the truck will only make around 12psi before it tries to push, also it seems to blow throw 2nd gear and then load hard in 3rd..even with DHD lockup box. Im interested in the georend ''k'' converter now because im thinking the 1058 is just a little tight, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!:thumb:

My K converter is a lot of fun. Loves to blow tires off. Very streetable and can tow.

Something seems goofy. I've gotten my 1058 up to 2300-2400rpm and had 25lbs of boost built with my vgt

Thats why i went with the 1058 to start with! I can hit 101 in the 1/8 in 7.0. With a 1.6 60. Just after 60' it falls on its face, and then picks up crazy power in third gear and pulls hard until i let out of it.

The 1058 does not couple. It works great on a stock motor. Suncoast has much better converters now.

i absolutely loved the K in my old LBZ. very very streetable due to how well it coupled, lite my 5541/4202 twins amazing, and could cut 1.5 60s all day in a CC/SB. one of, its not the best, convertors ive driven.
