gearing?

I currently have 37" tall tires and 4.56 gears with a Goerend R converter. Converter couples well now and has a 2200 to 2300 stall.
I am thinking about dropping tire size to 35s. I dd the truck and occasionally tow heavy. Are the 4.56s going to be too steep or do you think I'll like them.

I say you would be completely fine with the 6 speed trans. If you had the 5 speed I wouldn't do it. When I get an lbz I plan on going straight to 35's and 4.56's :thumb:

Thanks I remember seeing that chart now. Kind of what I had been thinking but needed a little confirmation to put the mind at ease.
I like how the converter performs now but it certainly won't hurt to have a little more gear.
The biggest thing I am after is better shaft angels.
