Just swapped over to 4.56 gears with a new posi. The factory M80 I mean G80 was about to grenade (see pics) so I needed to replace it. A buddy of mine works for a Dodge dealership and hooked me up on a new posi from Dodge. Swapped over perfectly and the new gears were exactly what I needed to get my rig back to Road Rocket status! Special thanks to Steve at A-1 Differential for doing a great job on the gear swap!

All those missing teeth had to be making one helluva racket in there. Let us know how the Dodge setup works.... I get tired of the random one wheel peel mine seems to wanna get into.

Really, I had no idea it was bad. i was just sick of the 3.73's and gonna do a gear swap. It locked up on me one time and stayed locked for about 2 weeks, I'm guessing thats what did it? Never really made any noise and after I lifted it i stopped getting sideways in it. The Dodge posi works good so far. Locked it up last night leaving the parking lot and drifted down the street through 3rd gear. Haven't done that in a while!:thumb:
