LLY: Gear lube

What's the best gear lube to use in the rear axle of a 2005 Silverado 2500 Lt lly duramax Allison. 4x4 crew cab long bed.
This truck has 210000 miles and tows a 40 landmark Rushmore fifth wheel, alot

Royal purple 75-140, it's free and keeps the diff parts stuck together.

Last fill up I put cheap 80-90 in it and the locker worked a lot better for a while but I think it spit some pieces out finally.

80/90 makes bad noises in the differentials fyi, do not use it. When I worked for Toyota a guy put 80/90 in a trade in truck and it sounded really bad almost like a bad gear mesh pattern

I've had it in my truck for 15k miles now and not a peep out of it.

And FYI you can run any shit oil you want as long as you use a friction modifier for the clutch packs. My explorer binds up and grinds with ANY oil, but as soon as I dump some trans-x in it, it's silent in 1-3 miles.
