Hi all, I'm Brad from Perth, Western Australia. I've been snooping around for while getting some valuable info. I have bought a new LMM and 6 speed Allison that I am going to be fitting to my 96 80 Series Landcruiser. Hopefully the engine and trans should be in my possession within the next couple of months. At present the body is stripped and off the chassis, the chassis is stripped as well as the diffs. As soon as the gear arrives I can make a start on new engine and trans mounts.

Cheers

You Know Ian! have you got a transfer for me yet for me yet?

Transfer will be Pootrol, diffs I'm still deciding but I may go with Toyota rear with solid pinion spacer and hybrid front, toyota axle tubes welded to a GU centre, I can use an ARB air locker in the Patrol centre with toyota side gears. The Toyota brakes are better than Nissan plus it allows me to keep the entire braking system fairly standard.

Brad,
I have got a good one you can use and was going to get a couple of spares so I can build the motor-trans-diff in my spare chassis and then put the wagon body on when I do the 3 repowers to keep the chang over time down.

Was going to build a couple for the project ute and take low range out[dont think ill need it] as it will need to be straight through to handle the torque of the stroker motor
