Garage area software upgrades now with fuel images for your signature

I just finished upgrading the software for the Timeslips/Garage area. The front layout is different now. One of the new options in the garage is that you can now track your fuel usage. By inputting the amount you bought, the $ cost, the starting and ending mileage the garage will give you totals and averages for mpg etc.

Let me know if anyone has any problems.

I have the limit set to 60 entries right now. After I see how the database is doing I may increase it.

Is there a way to add in a gal to liter converter and CAN to USD converter for the ones in Canada and km/h too?

I'll have to see if the software can do 2 different measurements. I don't think it can but the software writer is pretty good.

If you goto "EDIT VEHICLE", whatever you select as the type of mileage (miles or KMs), purchase price (dollars, pounds, euros, etc), and fuel preference (litres, gallons, etc) will then change what is shown in their fuel tracking stats.

Like I said previously in this thread the garage can track you fuel usage and give you averages, totals, mpg etc. Also you can have an image in your signature for this now.

Once you have started putting in your fuel usage you select "Generate Fuel Signature Image" from the pull down.

From there you select which of the 4 images you want to use (red circle):

Below are the 4 images you can select from.

Copy and past the link (green circle) into your signature in the UserCP and add the img tags like the example below. As you update your fuel usage your sig will update. Also you can use the image on other sites for your sig not just here.

That's the direction the garage is going. Next I'm hoping to add HP, and 1/8 or 1/4 mile times to the sig image.

so if we got up to 60 entries, would it trunk off the last one for each new one we input or tell us we can't enter anymore in? I keep a spreadsheet of mine, I could easily date it back and have twice as many entries. Or just start with 2010 numbers and go from there.

I'll have to ask the software writer how that works. But like I said I'll be watching the database when you guys start using it and if there is no major impact I'll increase the amount or make it unlimited.

any way to edit them as I put it in as liters but must have still had it set to gal and when I changed it. It is all messed up.

should be around 12L/100km and $72.50

wish it would show at least one decimal point instead of rounding to the nearest whole number on the MPG.
