Yep that's where I would put a starter. Lol Just think if GM did that we could all put bigger turbos and CP3 on our trucks when we had to replace a starter.

Honestly, when was the last time a starter went out? Or an oil pump? There are some things that are so simple/reliable, that it shouldn't matter that it is on the inside of the motor.

I suspect we've had more trucks break cranks (and rods, and pistons) than have starter failures... :stirthepot:
