Thats what I was somewhat thinking.. It reminds of when people say "the best truck combo is a ford body, with an allison trans, and a cummins motor" i hate hearing that crap SO much

Yea likewise. I always here from idiots that the best combo is a Ford chassis cummins motor and Allison trans. I just shake my head.
Truth is he just wanted a diesel in it and didn't want to worry about all the wiring that goes with the newer stuff.

Im sorry but my perfect combo would never have an overweight truck with front-end problems and a hideously sounding rattling inline 6.
