Subman doubt ill ever get a truck to run 9s,but if i do i have no problom posting about it:thumb: If i can help someone with what i learned to save them some money, then i will. Many of the people on this forum have helped me and its my way of returning the favor:cool2: But ya thanks for the advice about the cost,I guess it's good to see others spend and lean the hard way.....Just as you guys did:hug::thumb: You your self said you will be watching my Lenco thread closely,Thats great! When/If you ever decide to swap to a lenco......You might just thank me for saving you a few bucks or perhaps just some simple leg work.
Sweet there is an entire thread over on Dmax Central dedicated to Max'd Out and pretty well outlines all the problems the truck has had this year. I don't plan to look, but there is probably a lot of stuff posted on here, as well, I don't remember. What exactly would you like to know? We blew two engines, 3 turbos, 3 transmissions 3 TC's and a bunch of other stuff. We didn't finish the world finals due to a fried forward clutch pac. Appears it was a valve body problem.
I think you have a very long road ahead with the lenco due to the weight of your truck. I hope you are successful, it will be a big feather in your cap if you are. There is no secret sauce in Max'd Out. Rob is getting the truck suspension dialed in pretty good but that is no secret either, coil overs on the front and double adjustable QA-1's on the back. Truck has never ran full out, but has run pretty damn deep in the 9's on way less then full power. I hope the Armour truck turns it up a bit, it is light and he is really taking it easy. I said full out is foolish, but at least something in the 85% range and I doubt they have pushed that beautiful truck that hard yet. They are great guys and deserved the win in Topeka because they did what I think is correct. Made rounds.
