So why just the baby notch? I'm assuming you didn't want to cut or raise the bed floor and you're just going as low as you can without doing that?

Didn't want to cut anything. And as it is the frame sits on the ground. So I don't think there's a need in a big notch. And that was prolly me that talked about it. I asked what everyone thought of it and everyone bashed my idea because the rear axle is smaller. I've gave it hell and haven't had problems yet lol

FYI I swapped to a Allison deep pan, it's about a inch shallower than the cast aluminum deep pans. You may want to consider the change if you haven't already.
