Copy that ^^^^ It gives you the freedom to build however you'd like and mount in a variety of places. I look at this being comparable to Fass's biggest and baddest pump and then some for about the same money with a few more features and benefits for hardcore performance guys. I will say all the little fittings and hoses add up quick. I probably have $200 in fittings and hose. That damn little y block was $40 it's self and I had to put a bulkhead fitting in the tank for one of the returns and it was another $20 or so. It would have been more had i used all AL fittings. I saved money by hitting up the local Parker Store. great place for stuff like this.

HAHA it should have been gold!! It was like $40 for just that piece!!!!! It'd work real good for dual fuelers. Oh and the bay is much cleaner now,,,,, got rid of all the ABS and electronic junk not needed for dragging sleds,,,,, hehehehehe

Next time use a "Y" for air couplers

They are polished aluminum and cost around 8 bucks at a Parker store:)

DAMNIT! The guy said they didn't have anything like that. Oh well. This one worked good because it had a gauge port we put the fitting in for the digital fuel pressure gauge we use to record min/max fuel press. After I put the nice AL bulkhead fitting in the tank I did find it at the Parker Store for less then $9. Man I love that store.

I have yet to see these "Y"'s Simon keeps bragging about myself.:D

If you ever need a port for a pressure gauge, a collar, drill bit and a 1/8" or 1/4" pipe tap (depending on what size thread is on the gauge) and problem solved. Or any flat part of a fitting near where you want the gauge works too.

Just the inlet/outlet and a return line back to the tank are the only lines off the regulator. Plus a pressure gauge.

No there is a port that allows you to adjust pressure based off of boost. I seen he had the hose barb in the reg and wondered if he did this? You have and inlet and outlet and a return or like gassers setup you can do to inlets and the return. You also have a port for a gauge and boost.

I considered that ...... But honestly, it's work great with 12 psi that I don't want to mess with it:D

I also like the big inlet and outlet..... That right there means volume IMO

Other pumps with 3/8 or 1/2 " need more press to obtain the same volume.

All that being said, for a DD you won't use this pump to it's potential unless u change alot! The big fass getter done fore sure and they are plug and play so I see why guys run them. Nothing wrong with them, just personal preference.

I would like to see them make a smaller micron filter, but also know why they don't.

It is a really nice pump IMHO I don't buy into the whole air removal crap that FASS and AD push as I've never seen any negative? Keep the lines full with volume and you don't have air:confused:

So, my 7 month old PPE lift pump just took a crap on me. Called PPE and they said it would be 4-6 until i get its replacement after i send in this broken one.

All i can say is to hell with that! I'm not going to be driving around without a pump that long and i think its a serious letdown on the part of PPE.

anyways while its out for repair i think im going to buy this pump and maybe keep the ppe as a backup when it gets back. figured i would run it by you guys to see if you think its the best model for my needs. looks like i can hopefuly run it without a regulator:)

Get a Raptor. I think they're less than 400 and come with everything. Have your 1792 fixed and sell it.

The fuel lab pumps dont come with any fittings, the warranty process is very slow (they will not send you a new one, they will only fix yours). My advice would be to get a platinum FASS system for like $500, and be done with it. The repaired pump I got from fuel labs has been on for 3 months, and has been whining extra loud on and off. I am going to send it in again, and then sell it when I get it back.

Who did you buy from/deal with? I've yet to have to warranty one.

I have the Ppe setup in line (yea I know it's the ghetto way) so any install stuff a pump comes with would be irrelevant anyway.

I don't know if I can come up with the coin for a reg also might have to go with a raptor 150 as I've come to discover it's motor has a 15,000 hour life compared to the fuelabs 2,000
