So I'm interested in adding some more fuel to my setup and im unsure if I want to buy a modified cp3 or a dual cp3 setup. I have stock sticks and nozzles but I figured I would deal with the pump before I upgrade nozzles/bodies. Any input? Im also in the middle of picking a turbo to replace the stocker. Thinking maybe one of danvilles bmw 3794va but not sure yet.

In my opinion, the only reason to run a single cp3 is to meet some type of comp class regulation. Two stock pumps are more reliable and can provide over 1000hp worth of fuel.

Has anyone built a duel fueler kit themselves? It doesn't look very hard considering I'm pretty good at fabricating. Good idea? Bad idea?

I'd think the wiring harness would be the pain. Something to do with how the load is split between the two pumps. The brackets and all would be the easy part.

Um, Fingers' dual CP3 controller.....;)
I also seem to recall that one of the EFILive tuners (Fleece??) could now control two pumps directly from the ECU. Though that might have only been for the LB7.

So that might also be an option for you.

IIRC only lbz+ trucks can control dual cp3's from the ecm, something about the lb7 and lly ecm can't supply enough current for 2 regulators.
