Just wanting to get a little statistic here. Those of you who tapped into the fuel line through the test port or schrader valve for a pressure gauge.... Did you end up snapping the aluminum shaft off, or successfully unscrew it? I've snapped one. Now I have a new one on the motor and I'm almost scared to try again lol. Do you think I can?

If the valve itself is leaking you can replace just the valve or take the valve off and cap it. But like previously said, its easy to break the fitting off the block

I just ordered a adapter fitting from all season diesel. I'll try it with a torch. Last time I just ran a machine screw down in it after it broke for about 6 months lol.

Don't most people remove the restrictive test port block and run fuel line directly from filter head to CP3? At least on the LB7.

I don't see how that will really be any less restrictive. I know a lot of people do that. But you still have the restriction of the orfice on the cp3 inlet fitting.

I want a gauge as close as 6 inches to the cp3 inlet as possible. But don't want a sensor in a soft line. So this is the happy medium for me.

For sure i swsear that little fitting is only like 1/4 i ditched mine long ago.

Thats why i buy the big 1/2 inch and 3/8ths parker fitting and drill them out just a touch.:D

The best thing you can do is run 1/2 inch rubber fuel line right from your lift pump to a fuel block in the motor compartment somewhere, mine just floats right behind the 2nd cp3,i used the summit or jegs blue anodized fuel block 1/2 inch in and 2 3/8ths out and its taped for 1/8th inch pipe thread in the top of it where i installed a 0 to 30 psi fuel gauge then run 3/8ths to each cp3 where i have the 3/8s parker fittings.I have no problems with fuel delivery. PM me you # and ill text you some pics of my set up.

Thanks I always like pics! I plan on doing that next year. This year I have enough stuff to get done before the real season kicks off!
