Awsome job Dan! Very smart idea, just to tap and plug the banjo bolt end itself! I didnt catch that fully when u told me! Even if it were to leak, it would be internally, it could even seep a bit if at all and prolly still hold comanded psi! Gettin that damn banjo bolt out looked to be the biggest battle in this mod! Has all the right stuff, simple, cheap/free, and fairly quick to do, Nice work buddie:D

I'd do it if i didnt have the dual feed line! ;)

the dual feed its pretty slick too.

it took me maybe 20 minutes to get the banjo bolt out.

and like 3 hours to tap it :rofl:

i had to go to my buddies shop cause i dont have a vice. and the tap we used initially wasn't doing work good so i had to go buy a new one.

ill have to give that a shot.

I also just remember that the fuel rail fittings off of me new motor are ported out quite a bit more than stock, maybe ill just swap those in.

any advantage with the duel feed line if i plug the banjo bolt and add those ported fittings??

Well the dual feed line kit eliminates the FPRV all togather, its physically still there for the banjo bolt to attatch to and hence keep the return system sealed. On my LB7 it gets unscrewed from the fuel dist. block and bent outta the way and the new adaptor fitting goes in there for the line to hook to.

OK, so what's better for holding RP, plug the relief valve or a dual feed line? What's the cost of the dual feed line?

Plugging the valve is more in my price range right now...:D

Well the dual feed is bout $300, knowing what i know now and from Dan-O's results, go with the plug!

Now I had previously Praised my dual feed line, no doubt it works and helped overall performance, made the throttle responce nice and snappy too, now im wondering it they both achived the same thing? Now, adding another feed to the fuel block had to help some in its own, but for $300??? i dunno, now i see why some waived the :bs: at it. Now the fact that i have some garden hose injectors in there might negate the need for more feed? Thats where im now seeing the dual feed as viable.

Guys FYI, im not gonna back-up and shake hands with BS products and I too what honest working parts! I have enough trouble separating me from my money already and getting :dupe: 'ed isnt cool. Im here to learn and better us all and have a good time! So sometimes it takes some outside thoughts to truly see the whole picture, as there are many variables! So, im not tryin to misslead anyone! Further testing of the dual feed looks to be in good order. As of now, i'd say its unneeded on stock sticks, plug mod looks good!

Did you happen to get any pics of the plug after it was tapped and plugged?

seeing about getting a few more bolts and tapping it with a finer thread, and welding another. and see what goes on there. this one is leaking a little, from lookin at the logs. tapping and plugging it makes it reversible if you ever want to pull the plug out.

Doh!:D

Even leaking it showed the previously mentioned improvements in RP?

it had gone down a little bit, from what it initially was, but im going through the tune i was running and double checking all the fuel limiting tables, i found a few that i missed

but to awnser ur q, yes there were improvements in rp for me.
