LBZ: fuel system unpriming

I have a 2006 lbz that will loose fuel prime you shut it off for awhile

Rebuild fuel filter housing & check the condition of the rubber fuel lines

My LBZ did the same thing, turned out to be the fuel filter housing

rebuilt filter housing n put nicktane adapter with 2 micron cat filter but didnt help. Maybe I should buy a new housing. I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem.

my lb7 had a crack in the fuel pump housing, replaced the housing and that was fixed. system stayed primed and I wasn't losing fuel pressure. I didn't see the housing but I was losing a lot of pressure because she was starving for fuel at WOT.

Mine did the same exact thing and it was the primer screw had a pin hole in it just pump it till it lease you find were it is geting air from

I have been seeing a number of these in the last week and a half, bought my truck used with 37,000 miles when the primer quit. Rebuilt it, next go round I'm gonna buy a new housing with a filter. Amazon (shipped and sold) has them with a new filter for $120.00.
