Fuel pressure regulator

I need a new one , Is there a brand that I need to look for ? I have seen them for 25 dollars and up

Genuine Bosch. the others have a track history of hunting and failing early. the proper ones are normally around the $120-$150 or so range.

Thanks I wonder if you can answer this .My truck bounces back and forth on my mileage . Would this control that ?

I have an issue with my truck for quite awhile now . during idle the engine goes up and down . Was told fuel pressure regulator . I decided to do a scan and came up with a P0089C . I looked it up and it didn't mention fuel pressure regulator . It mention my high pressure fuel pump and a fuel injection sensor or wiring . What are the thoughts on this and would this effect my fuel mileage ?

As stated, only use a genuine Bosch FPR/FCA/MPROP (pick your flavor to describe it). Poor FPR performance can cause losses in mileage, it can cause a P0089, it can cause idle surge like you're experiencing.

The Bosch PN is 0928400535, they're usually $120-$150 depending on the vendor etc (RockAuto usually is a good value for these).
