Seems to me you have things figured out. Just gotta stop listening to the BS.

The only way to really compare trucks is to pull identical trailers at the same time. Same starting fill up locations and refilling stations.

Thanks I hear people say there getting 15 to16 mpg Towing . I've never seen that . I run Michelin tires 80 psi rear 65 psi front . my fifth wheel ,Goodyear tires at 110 psi . and valor tpms on all 8 tires.

My goodness, you're pulling a mobile home (a very nice one by the way), I think you're getting really good mileage. You're probably grossing 22,000 or more. Somebody is pulling your leg on those towing figures. Please find a good tuner and you'll take the love for your truck to a new level.

The best reason for you getting a real tune in my opinion would be the addition of the turbo brake feature.

You will not have to change anything on the truck, it will all be handled in the tune. If you want to be able to switch between stock and your new tow tune just ask for a DSP2 tune, add a single pole switch and 2 wires and you will have a very dependable setup.
