Fuel issues after installing fuel pressure relief valve and shim kit

I recently took out the old fprv on my 2004.5 gmc sierra lly and installed a new bosch one a put the 2 washer shim kit in it. Then I turned it over and it started up after about 10 seconds and I drove it around the block. Before I installed the new fprv, I never had any issues and it was running ok but had a little lope to it. Now when I push the pedal to the floor it doesn't rev up or accelerate or do anything but when I barely push the pedal it will rev and accelerate. I checked for codes and there weren't any, unplugged the battery for 30min just in case it was in limp mode but that didn't change anything either. Any help would be really appreciated! Also I don't have a lift pump.

You'll have to see if it's leaking past the fprv sealing surface, pretty common

So I figured out what it was. I took the fprv back out and apart and it was missing the tiny little needle that fits inside the hole.
